Bid Manager (all genders)
- Lead global offer/bid projects in the field of Public Safety (police, fire services, emergency medical services, public transport, coast guard)
- Conduct detailed analyses of tender documents and support Sales in developing the bid strategy
- Contribute to pricing strategy and risk management
- Take ownership of the overall cost calculation as well as commercial terms and conditions (e.g. payment terms, guarantees, exchange rates)
- Ensure consistency across all bid documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional contributions (engineering, pricing, contractual and compliance aspects) and ensure quality throughout the bidding process
- Act as the main point of contact for internal colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners during the bid phase
- Ensure compliance with established processes
- Support negotiations with German- and English-speaking customers
- Communicate with customers via tender platforms and ensure timely submission of bids
- Completed higher technical or commercial education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university degree)
- Several years of experience in Offer Management within a project-based business environment
- Project management know-how is an advantage
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel
- Willingness to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the relevant business segments and actively apply it in the role of Offer/Bid Manager
- Assertiveness when obtaining required inputs and contributions for bids
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure
- Ability to navigate and work effectively in new and not fully defined environments
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new topics and challenges
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
