In the Public Transport business unit, we are facing a technological upheaval, particularly with our key customers such as the Swiss Federal Railways. Our Public Transport business unit enables and supports a smooth migration of our existing solutions to new technologies. In this way, we and you are making a contribution to the mobility of the future and to improving the environmental balance of the transport sector (‘Green Deal’).
Key Tasks
  • Strategic Implementation: Implementing of Strategic Product Manager goals into a lifecycle roadmap for our product FTS 3020 
  • Project Management: Managing development, security, and quality activities as well as other teams/departments relevant to the product development process (i.e., coordination of the virtual product team, content planning, cost planning) 
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Product and backlog management with internal/external development units 
  • Team Leadership: Leading a virtual team as well as dedicated system engineers 
  • Requirements Alignment: Efficient transfer of requirements to development 
  • Single Point of Contact: Central contact person for product-related support from R&D, delivery, sales, logistics etc. 
  • License Management: Managing/creating all product-related licenses 
  • Communication of Product Roadmap: Communicating the product roadmap to all relevant stakeholders (development, processing, procurement) 
  • Close Collaboration with the Strategic Product Manager
Key Qualifications
  • Completed technical education in IT, software development or information technology 
  • At least five years of experience in product management or development or technical project management 
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is an advantage 
  • Fluent English skills, intercultural competence, and the ability to lead a virtual team are expected 
  • Knowledge of agile methods is an advantage 
  • Strong customer, user, and service orientation 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, present, and convince key stakeholders

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 45,206 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
