As a market leader in control centre solutions, the Maritime organisation provides functionality that supports the needs of today’s rescue coordination and traffic management authority market segments, thus answering the needs of modern Search and Rescue / Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) and the Navy. 

Key Tasks
As a presales solution architect you are responsible for:

  • technical analysis of the customer requirements and designing the solution architecture 
  • technical documentation within the offer process 
  • preparing their technical requirements for internal interfaces (e.g. Research & Development, IT Solution Provider, Purchasing, Assembly, etc) 
  • the technical interface to external customers (clients) as well as product management and software development 
  • take care of feasibility analyses, risk assessments and possible solutions with cost estimation in coordination with pre-sales and product management 
 
Sales support in your role includes: 

  • technical support for the sales department at customer appointments on site 
  • determination of customer needs and requirements
  • responsible for drafting the technical solution descriptions 
Key Qualifications
  • Education: Studies (TU or FH) in a technical field
  • At least 3 years of experience in analysis and architecture design in complex IT solutions for customer projects 
  • Experience in technical design documentation
  • Strong ability to create and present technical documentation (for proposals, sales and in customer projects) 
  • Ability to provide technical guidance/leadership in projects and to consult customers in regards to the technical solutions
  • Business fluent in English (written and spoken), German is an advantage 
  • Ability to work in a team and a high level of self-organisation under the consideration of short term submission deadline
  • Willingness to travel 20%

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 42,591 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
