Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. We are looking for a leader for our production team – a group of highly specialized and experienced colleagues – who will be responsible for both active employee management and ensuring the necessary personnel and equipment capacities to meet production goals. The focus is on good coordination with various interfaces (planning, procurement, controlling, test equipment development).
Key Tasks
  • You will lead the 20-member Frequentis production team and report directly to the Head of Planning, Production & Logistics. 
  • You will ensure that the available personnel and equipment capacities are optimally utilized to achieve delivery, quality, and cost targets. 
  • You will improve production processes (both technical and organizational) and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
  • You will collaborate on the realization of new projects with the external development partner.
  • You will be co-responsible for the introduction of new production processes and machines in Frequentis production as well as the definition of the necessary business processes.
  • You will ensure that HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements are met.
Key Qualifications
  • You have a technical education (HTL, FH, TU).
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in production, ideally in electronics manufacturing/EMS, and at least 5 years of direct leadership experience.
  • You have experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • You have strong social skills and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • You bring analytical thinking and a good understanding of technical contexts.
  • You have a high level of customer understanding and a confident demeanor, paired with independent action and high commitment. • You are fluent in German and English.

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 53,330 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
