Project Manager Defence (all genders)
- You are responsible for planning and coordinating all costs, milestones, quality aspects and resources for your project, keeping an eye on all quality gates and implementing the internal project assignment in a targeted manner.
- In consultation with the internal client, you put together your project organisation, distribute work packages and keep the project team together.
- You will identify risks to the project and initiate appropriate countermeasures.
- You act as the main point of contact for our long-standing client
- You will report on the current status of your project in accordance with Group guidelines and act as an escalation point in the event of problems or deviations.
- Planning suitable communication structures and coordinating information with the relevant stakeholders is also part of your remit.
- In the form of a lessons learned review, you will ensure that the experience you have gained from the project is retained for the Frequentis organisation in the long term.
- You have completed commercial or technical education, e.g. HTL/HAK, or are about to complete your studies with a focus on IT/project management.
- Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in the project environment (ideally: IT or SW projects).
- You have knowledge and practical experience of common PM tools and methods.
- Very good German language skills are essential due to our collaboration with our main customer in Germany.
- You have a high level of customer understanding and a confident manner, coupled with independent action and a high level of commitment.
- Analytical thinking and good comprehension skills help you to understand and implement technical contexts in telecommunications and IT.
- You demonstrate strong social skills and a solution-oriented approach to challenges within the team and with customers.
- Completed project management certification is an advantage in this position.
- You will support our global project management team with approximately 10-15% travel.
