Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are becoming increasingly important, and their use across various sectors continues to grow. To meet the new challenges posed by the rising UAV traffic efficiently, Frequentis continuously develops highly innovative solutions that support airports and air traffic control organizations in managing these challenges. Thanks to our extensive knowledge in air traffic control and emergency services, we also support customers in other sectors - such as emergency response organizations or railway operators - in the efficient and safe use of drones. Our market-leading solutions can be deployed both on-premises and in the cloud, depending on the specific requirements and preferences of our customers.

A successful drone operation includes systems for data communication, drone detection, and unmanned traffic management. Frequentis helps companies expand their technological capabilities to integrate drones safely and efficiently. 
Key Tasks
  • Management of research projects and consortium coordination, including collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Preparation of financial and technical reports for funding agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Comprehensive project planning and continuous monitoring of resources, budget, milestones, and deadlines
  • Alignment of R&D contributions from FRQ-funded projects with product development objectives
  • Optimization of resource allocation and budget utilization across the entire portfolio of funded projects
Key Qualifications
  • Several years of project management experience, ideally in an IT or software environment, combined with a completed technical or commercial education
  • Practical experience with European funding programmes and their financial and technical reporting requirements
  • Proven experience in building and leading complex project organisations
  • Advantageous: Knowledge of safety‑critical infrastructure sectors and a project management certification
  • A strong communicator with a hands‑on mindset and a high affinity for innovation
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%), excellent English skills required; good German skills are an advantage

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 46,203 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
