Job Introduction

Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are on the rise, gaining increasing importance, and their use will rapidly increase in the coming years. To proactively address the new challenges of growing UAV traffic, Frequentis continues to develop innovative solutions that support airports and air traffic control organizations in managing these challenges. Additionally, we also support customers in other sectors, such as public safety or railway operators, in expanding the use of drones. Our solutions can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud, depending on the specific needs and preferences of each customer.

Successful drone operations comprise systems for voice and data communication, drone detection, and uncrewed traffic management. Frequentis supports companies in expanding their technological capabilities to safely and efficiently integrate drones. Our long experience in collaborating with air traffic management and emergency service organizations gives us the confidence that we can also support other industries in using drones without negatively impacting the rest of air traffic.

Key Tasks

You will manage complex IT and telecommunications projects within critical infrastructures. This includes project planning, implementation and controlling as well as managing partners and subcontractors.
You will ensure the successful and profitable completion of projects by coordinating different stakeholders, managing resources and mitigating risks.
You will play a crucial role in driving the sustainable development and operational efficiency of critical infrastructure, contributing to the overall mission of our organisation.
Through your professional approach, you will help motivate your project team, working closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure project success in terms of time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
You support the sales team in the preparation of quotations and are therefore already effective in the early project planning phase.

Key Qualifications

You have completed technical or commercial education and have several years of professional experience in project management, ideally with IT/SW projects.
You have experience in setting up and managing project organisations and can ensure that project goals can be achieved even in complex situations.
If you are familiar with critical infrastructure sectors such as aviation, public safety, government and have a project management certification, this would be an advantage.
You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 15%) and speak very good English in order to be able to negotiate with your customers at eye level.

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 46,072 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
