Job Introduction

Key Tasks
  • You support in analyzing security incidents, understand attackers’ methods, and develop recommendations for defense measures
  • You evaluate new vulnerabilities, inform affected stakeholders, and collaborate on finding solutions
  • You review public and confidential intelligence feeds for relevant information, identify potential threats to the company, and recommend suitable countermeasures to stakeholders
  • You are interested in improving and developing existing processes and tools
  • You contribute to creating situational awareness and support security audits, risk analyses, and IT security training
  • You actively engage in ongoing learning and exchange as a vital member of the national, European, and international cyber security community

Key Qualifications
  • You have a completed IT education (HTL, FH, Uni) 
  • You have some work experience in the field of IT/network technology 
  • You are a reliable person and have a passion for cyber security 
  • You understand how attackers think and act and enjoy finding creative solutions for new security challenges 
  • You are characterised by a hands-on mentality, a structured approach and a solution-oriented working style 
  • You can deal with confidential information and still enjoy communicating a lot 
  • You work independently in the (home) office and can handle the freedom to organise and implement your tasks 
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English and German

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 35.994 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
