Our Air Traffic Management (ATM) portfolio is designed to provide comprehensive solutions for the aviation industry. From automation to tower systems, from voice communication to traffic optimisation, from information management to surveillance, from networks to UTM and recording. With the new X10 voice communication solution, we are opening the next chapter in the transformation of air traffic management communication into IT services. As a Service Engineer (all genders) you will ensure that our customers' systems are kept running without interruption, which is an essential contribution to safe flight operations.

Technologies: Linux Red Hat, VMware, Ansible, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, Containertechnologien (zB Docker, Kubernetes), Java/Groovy, Phyton, Kamaillio, Netzwerkprotokolle (TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP,…) und Whireshark, JIRA, JAMA, ITSM

Key Tasks

You are the contact person for your customers at 3rd level / vendor support level and analyse and fix system errors.
You plan and implement system updates and upgrades. Due to your presence close to the customer, you know their needs and operational requirements and work on continuous product improvement.
You will be involved in international projects in co-operation with subsidiaries and partner companies.
Carrying out customer training both on site and at headquarters completes your area of responsibility.

Key Qualifications

You have completed an education specialising in IT or network technology and have at least 5 years of professional experience in service or system engineering.
You have technical skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work in a team and keep a cool head even in critical situations.
You have a strong interest in embedded systems, virtualisation, network technology and are up-to-date in these areas?
You enjoy demonstrating complex solutions and working with different cultures.
You like travelling to your customers and are on international business trips (approx. 25%), so you speak English very well.

Annual Gross Salary from

This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
