Senior Software Engineer – Remote Tower Control (all genders)
- Development of innovative information systems for the rapid and secure handling of air traffic
- Participation in the entire development process (analysis, architecture, design, implementation, maintenance, documentation, and verification)
- Implementation of sophisticated product and customer features
- Mentoring and guiding other team members
- Critical analysis of existing implementations
- Evaluating technology and architecture decisions
- Coordination and alignment of technical topics with other teams and with management

- In close collaboration with our customers, we design and develop leading-edge features for the future of air traffic management.

- Continuous improvement (Kaizen) is important to us.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in software development with Java and/or C++, and a completed technical education (university, university of applied sciences, or technical college)
- Knowledge of modern technologies and frameworks, and an understanding of how to apply them also within existing implementations
- Experience in developing and debugging complex communication systems with asynchronous and time‑critical message processing
- Practical experience with Linux is required
- Enjoyment in working within agile teams (Scrum/XP)
- Strong commitment to high‑quality, safety‑critical software and precise work in a fast‑evolving environment
- Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in processing real‑time video data streams, object detection, and machine learning
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and requirements management systems
