Key Tasks
  • Ensuring that all project and product development objectives are met on schedule. 
  • Planning and defining the methodological approach for testing. 
  • Drawing up project and test plans, including resource and capacity planning. 
  • Manual and automated testing: conducting functional and non-functional tests (manual and automated) to ensure software quality.
  • Analysing requirements and use cases for testability and assigning them to test phases. Creating test plans and specifications, and planning the test environment. Analysing processes for quality improvement. 
  • Providing tools and managing the test team to support project management. 
  • Reporting on test status and progress using key performance indicators. 
  • Test automation scripting and using automated tools from the FRQ Test Framework (CATS) 
  • Test system management (configuration, maintenance, monitoring)
Key Qualifications
  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in a testing environment. 
  • Completed IT training with a focus on one of the following areas: network engineering, communications engineering or software development.
  • Knowledge of JAMA and Agile is an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills, analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
  • Network switching and routing skills and operating system skills (Cisco and Red Hat/Linux certifications are an advantage).  
  • Very good command of German and good command of English. 
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 46,200 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
