Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. The Frequentis business unit "Workflow-based Airport Solutions" develops and sells products that support airports in digitalization and automation and thus make a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of operational business. This also represents an important building block for decarbonization in the airport environment.
Key Tasks
  • Design/development of responsive front-end and back-end services.
  • Work with management to understand business needs and define software requirements to make technology/architecture decisions
  • Produce technical specifications
  • Monitor software performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
  • Maintain and enhance the code base and documentation
  • Perform effort estimation to ensure applications meet requirements
  • Responding to, analyzing and resolving problems in operations
Key Qualifications
  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, software engineering or similar
  • Experience in the development of software applications, preferably in the field of aviation or airport operations
  • Knowledge of JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, Groovy
  • Experience working with databases Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
  • Experience with web application development and APIs REST, SOAP
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux, Windows, containerization - Docker
  • Experience in AI machine learning, models & training is desirable
  • Team orientation and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good communication skills in German and English

Annual Gross Salary from
EUR 35565
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
