Job Introduction

The tools used must be stable, reliable, and immediately available when needed. The control center products of our Public Safety division have been developed to meet this requirement. Our mission is to ensure that police, rescue services, and fire brigades can focus on the core of their task - saving lives. Key Tasks
  • Optimization and further development of automated software deployment (ArgoCD,Helm, Ansible) for our system landscape (Windows, Red Hat Linux, OpenShift) 
  • Further development of our monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) 
  • Preparation of various applications for later use in our customer projects 
  • Evaluation of software solutions and proof of concept assessments in the area of Cloud Native technologies 
  • Planning and execution of integration and testing tasks in the Public Safety product environment 
  • Documentation of installation and service activities
Key Qualifications
  • Completed or advanced technical education (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in IT, computer science or Physics 
  • Good scripting (PowerShell/bash) and/or programming skills 
  • DevOps mindset and enjoyment of technically complex issues as well as technical documentation 
  • Willingness for training and further education and interest in new technologies
  • Knowledge in areas such as Ansible- Podman, Kubernetes, and Prometheus is an advantage 
  • Quick, analytical comprehension and structured working method 
  • Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 37,362 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
