Job Introduction

In the Public Transport business unit, we are looking for a Solution Architect (f/m/d) for the existing solutions-team responsible for solution design, system design and standardization for a key customer in the field of rail communication.
Key Tasks
  • Elicitation of customer's requirements and wishes, followed by design of the technical solutions 
  • Feasibility checks, market research and benchmarking as well as determination of costs and investment requirements of the technical solution
  • Responsibility for the technical part of the offer 
  • Participation in new and further development of products 
  • Execution of customer presentations as well as support at trade fairs and conferences 
  • Close cooperation with sales, product management and internal development departments
Key Qualifications
  • Technical education (HTL or bachelor's/master's degree) in the field of computer science, communications engineering or electrical engineering 
  • At least 5 years of professional experience (10 years if HTL degree) as a business analyst or solution architect
  • Technical generalist with experience in different areas (e.g. telecommunications, it networks, hardened systems)
  • Experience with the IP Multimedia Subsystem and Mission Critical Communications is also an asset
  • Industry experience in the railroad sector is an advantage 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English 
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 % per year 
  • Communicative team player with high customer orientation and a structured way of working
