Job Introduction
Frequentis AG with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 40.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

The NIS (Network and Infrastructure Services) department designs, builds and services IT solutions for use in worldwide customer projects. The scope covers all IT infrastructure areas such as server/client HW, network, storage, virtualization, operating system, third-party applications and security. To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced personality in the area of network and IT infrastructure.
Key Tasks
  • You are part of a central team responsible for providing expert knowledge and services to internal and external customers in the area of Network and IT infrastructure 
  • As an SME, you are also responsible for the solution design in coordination with the lead project engineer / project manager 
  • In this role you are responsible for the 2nd and 3rd line support of our network and infrastructure solutions 
  • You support our products and customer project teams with the management of their IT Life Cycle, including consulting on new and deprecated features, protocols and technologies
Key Qualifications
  • Completed studies (FH, University) with focus on IT 
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure 
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure), Network Engineering (Cisco) 
  • Knowledge in Active Directory, Zabbix, ELK Stack and Ansible is advantageous 
  • Experience in administration of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux based systems
  • Openness to travel (15%) as well as working on-call duty 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English 
  • Motivated personality with the desire to expand their knowledge and expertise in network engineering and IT infrastructure

Annual Gross Salary from
EUR 33142
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
