Job Introduction

We are facing a technological upheaval in the Public Transport business unit, particularly with our key customers such as the Swiss Federal Railways. Our Public Transport division enables and supports a smooth migration of our existing solutions to new technologies. This is how we and you contribute to the mobility of the future and to improving the environmental balance of the transport sector ("Green Deal").

We are looking for a System Architect for the existing solutions-team responsible for solution design, system design and standardization in the field of rail communication. 

Key Tasks
  • Creation of system architecture and system designs in collaboration with agile development teams 
  • Analysis of requirements through close cooperation with business analysts and other stakeholders according to the SAFe framework 
  • Mapping of technically complex areas as software requirements for the development teams 
  • Responsibility for the technical feasibility of the architecture and designs 
  • Generating ideas and further development of the system architecture 
  • Internal and external customer contact
Key Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a system or software architect or as a software developer 
  • Experience with Cloud Native and VoIP (SIP, IMS) is desirable 
  • Proficient in web technologies and CI/CD is an advantage 
  • Knowledge of the "railway system" and related new communication technologies is helpful but not required 
  • "Secure by Design" and "Architecture Principles" are not foreign concepts to you Very good English skills and good 
  • German skills are necessary Communicative, proactive personality who enjoys making decisions 
  • Occasional business trips to customers are interesting to you

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 48.200 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
