Technical Solution Manager – uncrewed traffic management (UTM) (all genders)
- You are responsible for the technical solution in customer projects and for leading interdisciplinary technical teams.
- In close collaboration with the commercial project manager, you ensure the successful completion of projects from both a technical and commercial perspective through efficient problem‑solving.
- You lead the design, setup and configuration, and system testing—both on‑premises and in the cloud—in cooperation with Development, DevOps, Cloud Ops, and System & Test Engineering.
- You take an active, hands-on role in planning and implementing system integrations via REST APIs (API onboarding, interface analysis and mapping, e.g., JSON/GeoJSON, API design reviews, data model alignment, authentication/authorization, error handling, and end‑to‑end troubleshooting).
- You are responsible for the technical acceptance of all external and internal deliveries and implement change requests effectively in alignment with Sales and Development.
- You assess technical risks and proactively manage security aspects
- You have completed a technical education with a focus on IT or telecommunications
- You have more than five years' experience in a technical interface function, for example as a system engineer, technical solution manager, technical project manager or system architect and have experience in leading teams
- Your technical background in IT includes experience in networks and programming
- You have strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, ideally including OpenAPI/Swagger and API contracting, as well as expertise in system integration and interface technologies (e.g., webhooks, message queues/eventing, SSO/OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS)
- Project management knowledge and domain expertise, for example in the areas of ATM, communication protocols or UAS operations, are a plus
- You enjoy working with customers and are willing to travel internationally (approx. 15%)
- Very good English skills are required due to international customer relations, other languages are an advantage
