Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. As a Technical Development Manager, you will ensure the successful execution and implementation of complex airport solution developments within the specified time and budget. The project portfolio consists of airport solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies. We work according to modern IT business solution processes that are mapped in an integrated tool landscape.

You will have the overall responsibility for several development projects from the start. A further development to program level is possible.

Key Tasks
  • Active participation in the developments (programming, testing, documenting)
  • Regular reporting on the project
  • Creating work packages from in-house development projects and coordinating the work packages with the domain center managers and external development service providers
  • Coordination and control of resources
  • Implementation of project management processes and internal orders
  • Management of development projects and corresponding developments for customer projects
Key Qualifications
  • Completed technical or economic education (FH or TU in computer science) 
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in complex software projects (ideally with a great impact on the development processes) 
  • Profound know-how of Web frameworks Vue.js, Angular, React, JVM languages Java, Kotlin, Groovy, API development REST, SOAP, Databases Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Data streaming Kafka, Redis, Message Queues
  • Solid know-how of Linux, Windows, Containerization - Docker, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Git, SVN, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira
  • Interest or talent to quickly familiarize yourself with new domains 
  • Ideally, previous knowledge in the field of aviation
  • Experience in leading project teams 
  • Business fluent German and English 
  • Integrity, responsibility and empathy
  • Readiness to travel 20-30%

Annual Gross Salary from
EUR 67200
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5-hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
