Job Introduction

In the RailX/MCx area, we are looking to strengthen our team for complex technical projects. As a Technical Solution Manager (all genders), you will take on a central role in the technical management and implementation of our solutions - both internally and in collaboration with our customers.

Technologies: Telecommunications, IT and network technologies, system integration, configuration management, lifecycle management, safety and security requirements (Safety & Security), RailX/MCx platform, COTS products, automation, engineering methods
Key Tasks
  • Technical coordination: Main contact person for customers and internal departments in technical matters. 
  • Project management: Planning technical resources, monitoring deadlines and implementing technical solutions within budget and feasibility. 
  • System integration: Responsibility for integration, testing and commissioning together with the customer. 
  • Requirements management: Creation and coordination of technical specifications and management of the design process (SDR, PDR, CDR). 
  • Interface work: Collaboration with R&D, IT, purchasing and other internal departments. 
  • Change & lifecycle management: Support for change requests and COTS products including configuration management. 
  • Safety coordination: Consideration of safety and security aspects. 
  • Risk management: Analysing technical risks and opportunities with action planning.
Key Qualifications
  • Profound knowledge of telecommunications, IT and network technologies, virtualisation such as Kubernetes desirable 
  • Experience in a specialised technical function (e.g. system engineering) 
  • Very good written and spoken English skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and project leadership 
  • Technical creativity and solution orientation 
  • Analytical thinking skills

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 50,055 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
