Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 40,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

As a project manager you are an important interface between customer, sales, the product and engineering team regarding our communication and information systems in the area of public safety. From the design to the technical implementation of the customer solution, you will maintain an overview and thus help to successfully roll out our Frequentis solutions in emergency call centers.
Key Tasks
  • Responsibility for the technical solution in a customer project and first contact person in technical matters 
  • Analysis and translation of customer requirements into system requirements 
  • Clarification of the technical feasibility of the elaborated designs and descriptions with our internal teams 
  • Overall technical overview of individual projects (requirements, resources, budget) 
  • Responsibility for smooth approval of the solution at the end of the project 
  • Technical risk management including security and safety aspects 
  • Close cooperation with the commercial project manager
Key Qualifications
  • Technical education with IT or telecommunication focus (HTL, FH, TU degree) 
  • At least 5 years of experience in an interface function in the IT/software/telecom customer project business (e.g. as a system engineer, technical solution manager, technical project manager, system architect) 
  • Know-how in the areas of OS, Windows, networks and virtualization 
  • Very good knowledge of German, due to the cooperation with German-speaking customers
  • Interest in business trips for customer approval (approx. 15-20% per year to Germany) 
  • Team-oriented and structured personality with a confident and representative appearance 
  • Solution-oriented way of thinking and willingness to make decisions

Gross Annual Salary from
EUR 44295
This salary is the minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on a 38.5 hour week. Your actual annual gross salary results from the overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional experience and qualifications and is part of our attractive overall package.
