This is critical to increase airspace capacity, enhance safety and reduce the cost per flight.  The VCX-IP Product, that we are delivering, is a network solution for voice and data communications complying with European and international VoIP standards for civil air traffic management (ATM). It supports a wide range of legacy as well as IP interfaces and optimises ATM applications supporting parallel multi-technology (TDM, IP, satellite) hybrid WAN backbones. 

Technologies/tools: Linux, network technologies, virtualisation, Jama, Jira, automated/manual testing

Key Tasks
  • You create test strategies and -plans, you are responsible for ensuring complete test specifications and planning the test environment
  • You analyse requirements/use cases for testability, applicable test methodology and assign these to test phases
  • You recognise what needs to be ready at what time and who is needed to meet the schedule
  • You report the test status and progress based on KPIs
  • You support product release and further development to improve test quality (manual testing and creation of automated test cases)
Key Qualifications
  • You have successfully completed an IT apprenticeship specialising in one of these areas: Network engineering, communications engineering or software development and have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of testing.
  • You have technical skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work in a team.
  • You work in a structured manner and keep an overview of what needs to be completed at what time
  • You occasionally travel to our customers and are on business trips, so you speak English well

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 45,208 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
