Voice communication is crucial for any air traffic control service: uninterrupted, round-the-clock communication is a fundamental requirement. The Air Traffic Management (ATM) Voice Solutions business unit defines, develops and distributes the market-leading voice product portfolio to our global customers. With the new X10 voice communication solution, we are opening the next chapter in the transformation of air traffic management communication into IT services

As a Test Manager for X10 voice communication solutions, you will create test strategies and plans, be responsible for ensuring complete test specifications and planning the test environment. You are the interface to our international teams, you report the test status and support the product release to improve the test quality. 

Technologies/tools: Linux, network technologies, virtualisation, Jama, Jira, automated/manual testing, ISTQB certification

Key Tasks
  • You create test strategies and -plans, you are responsible for ensuring complete test specifications and planning the test environment
  • You analyse requirements/use cases for testability, applicable test methodology and assign these to test phases
  • You recognise what needs to be ready at what time and who is needed to meet the schedule
  • You are the interface to our internationally distributed agile teams, the system team, the test automation teams and the internal stakeholders
  • You report the test status and progress based on KPIs
  • You support product release and further development to improve test quality
Key Qualifications
  • You have successfully completed an IT apprenticeship specialising in one of these areas: Network engineering, communications engineering or software development and have already gained several years of professional experience in the field of testing.
  • You have technical skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work in a team.
  • You work in a structured manner and keep an overview of what needs to be completed at what time
  • You occasionally travel to our customers and are on business trips, so you speak English well

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 45,208 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
