Vice President Legal (all genders)
- Provide supportive professional leadership to a global Legal team of 17, including disciplinary responsibility for 8 colleagues based in Vienna, with focus areas in contract and procurement law, IT law, cybersecurity, and data protection
- Continuously enhance efficient and legally compliant processes with a strong emphasis on transparency, quality, and sustainable collaboration
- Co-develop and implement the company-wide legal strategy in close and trusted partnership with the Executive Management and key business stakeholders
- Carefully review, draft, and negotiate complex international contracts and provide legal guidance for strategic projects
- Maintain constructive communication with international authorities
- Deliver forward-looking legal assessments of business decisions and develop sound, solution-oriented recommendations
- Conduct internal trainings and foster strong legal awareness throughout the organization
- Law degree under Austrian law or a comparable legal qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a corporate legal department or a reputable law firm, ideally including experience in leading and developing teams Austrian
- Bar exam is an advantage
- Proven experience in negotiating and structuring international project contracts in a solution-oriented manner
- Solid expertise in contract law, IT law, and data protection, ideally complemented by knowledge of procurement and cybersecurity law
- Strong communication skills, diplomatic judgment, and a high level of integrity and responsibility
- Strategic mindset with sound analytical skills and the ability to present complex matters clearly and coherently
- Service-oriented, reliable, and composed in demanding situations
- Fluency in German at native level is mandatory, as German serves as our corporate and primary working language; fluent English proficiency is also required due to our international operations
- Confident handling of common IT tools (e.g., MS Office, Confluence, Jira, document management systems, contract databases)
- Curiosity, openness, and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and sustainably developing an international team
