Job Introduction

Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, 500 customers with 30.000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience.

Key Tasks

The Team: We are providing the next generation platform for Frequentis safety critical domains. Driven by the highest quality needs in air traffic management we reach out to all use cases where reliability, real time performance and security are major success factors. Joining the MosaiX-Team as Cloud Native Architect you start a strategic journey to bring Frequentis products to the hybrid cloud.

Translate business needs into a sustainable system architecture and further initiate, draft and approve it
Define and evolve the system architecture including the service and interface catalogue as well as high-level message flows
Provide architecture consulting to products built on the MosaiX platform
Facilitate migrating existing applications to the MosaiX platform by considering their traditional need (i.e. specific network requirements)
Support the development team with software design and participate in design reviews, thereby ensuring alignment with the intended architecture
Provide indicative effort estimates, for features together with the development team

Key Qualifications

Profound experience in system and software architecture
Deep knowledge of cloud native concepts including experience with service-oriented architecture based on containers
Positive mindset towards DevOps, agility and teamwork
Keeping the overall direction while being open for new technologies
Willingness to work in a safety critical environment
