Job Introduction
Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 40,000 workstations already trust our know-how and proven experience. 

Within our Defence department we develop a modern, IP-based voice and data communication system called iSecCOM. It is used for air traffic control and surveillance in the Defence sector, for search and rescue missions and for other safety-critical applications.
In addition to the standard functionality, iSecCOM also covers special requirements such as voice and data encryption, red / black separation. Based on customer requests, we also provide specific adaptations and product-based special solutions!
Key Tasks
  • You will work on the creation of new software solutions for safety-critical voice and data applications
  • You will develop quality-assured software, in accordance with modern processes, including requirements analysis, design, and implementation, all the way to tests on software and system levels
  • You will integrate the software you developed as well as the existing software into the overall system
Key Qualifications
  • Closed technical study (preferably computer science)
  • Several years of work experience as a C ++ developer under Linux 
  • Technical mindset and the ability to coordinate and successfully complete the tasks across development teams 
  • Knowledge of VoIP technology (SIP, RTP) and system programming is an advantage
